The Start!

Hailing from Southlake, Texas, I grew up in a sports-centered household as the youngest of three, with two older brothers who fueled my early exposure to athletics. From an early age, I found myself immersed in the world of sports, attending football practices and hockey games as the enthusiastic little sister. While I eagerly participated in various sports, there was one I wasn’t permitted to play—football—the sport I loved most.

Despite that, I found my own way into the football world through photography. My passion for capturing moments began in middle school when I convinced my parents to buy me a camera. I quickly became a regular on the sidelines, documenting middle school football games, and as my skills developed, so did my passion.

In high school, I served as the photographer for the Southlake Carroll football team, an experience that not only honed my talent but also introduced me to a tight-knit community of friends.

From creating game day posts to late-night video editing sessions, my time as the team photographer became the highlight of my high school years. It also provided me with invaluable experience and prepared me for the next chapter in my creative journey.

Since graduating high school, I’ve been on an incredible journey behind the camera lens—chasing moments, capturing magic, and telling stories through sports media!

It all kicked off with Mitchell Sports Media, the freelance business I launched in 2019. What began as a passion quickly turned into a full-blown hustle—working with athletes, teams, and brands to create content that pops both on and off the field. Through consistency, creativity, and some serious networking, I’ve grown my brand while doing what I love most.

From there, I had the dream opportunity to work with the LA Dodgers organization and Tulsa Drillers as their Social media intern and team photographer, where I captured over 1,000 in-game photos per week and truly found my rhythm in professional sports media—building genuine connections with athletes and coaches and delivering content that brought fans right into the heart of the action.

Most recently, I wrapped up an incredible season as the Media Manager for the University of Oklahoma Softball Team, where I led social media strategy, designed weekly graphics, and created content that connected fans to the team’s powerhouse legacy. During my time as the Social Media Creator and Team Photographer for the University of Oklahoma Softball Team, I had the incredible opportunity to document a historic season from behind the lens. From designing weekly graphics to capturing every key play, I helped lead the team’s digital presence all the way to the Women’s College World Series, telling the story of one of the most dominant programs in college sports through content that connected with fans nationwide.

Now, I’m proud to serve as the Lead Team Photographer for the Oklahoma City Comets, the Triple-A affiliate of the LA Dodgers. I head in-game photography, oversee content production, and collaborate with the front office to tell the team's story in bold, engaging ways.

I also continue working with Players Collxtive Sports Agency, capturing the grind and glory of athletes chasing their dreams and building their personal brands.

Every role I’ve taken on has sharpened my eye, deepened my passion, and fueled my commitment to this industry. Sports media isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.

Off The Turf!

Aside from snapping shots and editing player pics, I paint and am heavy in studio art. I can play the guitar, piano, ukulele, and banjo. So needless to say, all sides of arts are my passion. Although I no longer play any sports, working out takes up a lot of my time as I spend most afternoons at the gym. I am currently attending the University of Oklahoma, and majoring in Online Journalism, with a minor in English writing.
